If you are a music and vintage enthusiast, you have probably considered restoring an old turntable radio, such as the 1956 Blaupunkt Kongo radio turntable. We are pleased to share with you the details of our latest work. We worked hard to bring this radio back to life and we are proud of the final result. Our restoration process began with the removal of the old damaged veneer. We worked with the client to choose the perfect color for the wooden part, so that it would fit perfectly into the living environment. We completely replaced the front fabric with a more modern and durable one. We overhauled the turntable by replacing the cartridge, stylus and belts, ensuring that the original sound was restored. Finally, we restored the lighting mechanism, which had been lost over time. This added an additional touch of authenticity to the radio. We are very satisfied with the final result, and we believe that this radio is ready to be appreciated and used for many years to come. Thanks to its renewed beauty and functionality, this and other vintage radios can be brought back in style and appreciated by future generations.
