This work, designed for a farm in Impruneta, is the practical solution, to overcome a problem of slope in the paving of the hive where it was then placed. The use of scaffolding acca allowed to insert adjustable feet, excellent for to bubble it up. Considering the greatness of the work, the whole set-up was created in the blacksmith’s workshop which, with great patience, supports us in our projects.
From scrap to single piece
The structure of the legs, as mentioned, is made up of three old scaffolding acces now unusable for the construction sites given the age of the pieces. To these, were added the iron crosspieces placed below the floor to recreate the band that is normally found in the tables. The frame in which the top is inserted (size 410 x 120 cm), comes from old racks of a rubber, recovered. For the floor, we used very old scaffolding planks to stay in theme (some more than 60 cm wide). To put everything together, we put strips of galvanized sheet of ancient gutters. The wood has been brushed and waxed.
